New
Patients

Welcome to Trestlewood Pediatrics, if you have any questions, please let us know!

Are you preparing for the
birth of your first child?

Wonderful! We can schedule an Expecting Parent tour on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. At that time, you can meet with our office staff, pick up a new patient packet, possibly meet some of our physicians and ask questions concerning our practice. To schedule a tour, please call us at (269) 381-0118. During the phone call, we will ask if you plan to immunize your child and what company your child will be insured by.

If you’re new to the area

We’re accepting new patients for those who are new to the area and in need of a physician. We will warmly welcome you into our practice. Please call so we can answer any questions you have and give you suggestions to help expedite your child’s medical records to our practice. We must have your child(ren)’s medical records in our office before scheduling any appointments. We will also confirm with your insurance and that you are planning to immunize your child according to the recommendations of the ACIP (see the immunization schedule). Our policy is that all of our new patients immunize their child(ren) according to the ACIP recommendations.

Local transfers to our office

If you are interested in transferring your children to our practice and are currently seeing another physician in the area, please call and request to speak with us. We have a waiting list for families that would like to transfer to our practice that is currently seeing physicians in our local area. We will confirm that you are contracted with your insurance and currently immunize your child(ren) according to the ACIP recommendations and intend to continue doing so.

What makes our practice different from other pediatric practices?

Your child will always be seen by a board-certified pediatrician and you will be given the choice when scheduling each visit which pediatrician you would like to see.
If your child has an urgent issue, acute problem or emergency after hours, you can reach one of our physicians after hours on the on-call cell phone at (269) 998-0554. One of our doctors answers the on-call cell phone after hours ? no answering service and no nurse triage.
We offer same day appointments when your child is urgently sick or has an acute issue.
New patients and parents are warmly welcomed.
Our centrally located office is convenient to Kalamazoo, Portage and beyond.
