We continually strive to improve our service to you. We thoroughly enjoy our partnership with you in your childs and familys lives and hope our service meets your needs. We Have A New Computer System!
Trestlewood Pediatrics has implemented a new computer system, replacing our old practice management system and moving from paper medical records to electronic medical records (EMR). We made this change because our previous computer system was very old and we believe the new system will improve our ability to manage your child's care. We "went live" with the practice management system spring of last year, and implemented the EMR last summer. We appreciate your patience as we move our practice forward to better meet your needs and the needs of your children.
Our new system can scan your insurance card directly into your file in the computer so WE ARE REQUESTING YOUR INSURANCE CARD AT EVERY VISIT. This is so that we can better serve your family by billing the right insurance for you every time so you don't have to worry about billing. So please be sure to bring your card with you to your visits.
You also will find that you will receive separate statements for each of your children, and they now have a new account number. As always, ask questions if you do not understand your statements from us.
Due to this conversion, we are scheduling out further for our well child physicals, and for that we apologize. You also may find you are waiting for the pediatrician a little longer in the office. Rest assured we are doing everything we can to reduce the waits in both areas. Our transition is going very well, so we hope to be back on schedule soon. Again, thank you for your patience throughout this process.
Flu Vaccines
We are at the end of our flu season! We can still give flu vaccines and boosters if your children still need them.Thank you for granting us the
privilege of caring for your children. We extend our wishes to you and your
family for a safe and healthy year. If you ever have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Office Manager at (269) 381-0118 or e-mail us with your comments.
