Infants' Acetaminophen Concentration and Dosage Change

Companies are changing the concentration of their medications for infants and there are new directions for these products. There may be a time when both the new and old concentrations of infants' acetaminophen products are in stores and also in your homes. For children under 2 years of age, dosing is not provided on the label - parents and caregivers are instructed to call their doctor for dosing instructions. To help you with providing the proper dose of this medicine for your infant, we are providing the dosing information here. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our office to ensure you are providing the proper dosage to your infant.
